Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Services

Word Security provides cybersecurity consulting, vulnerability assessments, security audits, and related services for WordPress websites. All services are provided based on individual agreements and quotes.

2. Booking and Payments

• Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a completed booking form and acceptance of the terms.
• Payment terms, fees, and cancellation policies will be specified in the individual service agreement or invoice.
• Payments are due within 30 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed.

3. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep all sensitive information related to the client's website and security issues confidential, unless disclosure is required by law.

4. Responsibilities of the Client

The client shall provide accurate information and access to their website as necessary for the assessment. The client is responsible for backing up their website prior to any security testing or assessment.

5. Limitation of Liability

Word Security shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services, including but not limited to data loss, downtime, or security breaches, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the work delivered remain with Word Security until full payment is received. The client is granted a non-exclusive license to use the deliverables for their website.

7. Data Protection

We handle your personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection laws. Please see our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Termination

Both parties may terminate the agreement with 30 days' notice. Payments for services rendered up to termination remain payable.

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Disputes shall be settled in the courts of the district of Horgen, Switzerland.

10. Changes to Terms

Word Security reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website.
